Found for sale on the side of the road in Belleville,
WI, this boat was a time capsule back to the golden age of boating.
All original and unrestored, this "glassic" sat collecting
dust in the garage of a Lake Waubesa home for the last forty plus
years. The son-in-law of the previous owner remembers using the
boat only a couple times . Some the boat cushions were still in
plastic with the original tags. The original 1965 Mercury 650
outboard still has the factory seal on the magneto. The snowco
trailer still had the whiskers on the sidewall of the tires. Those
whiskers are now long gone and For Pete s Sake has life again.
She enjoys numerous trips back to Lake Waubesa and the Madison
lakes plus has made trips to Eagle River, Lake Wisconsin, Lake
Geneva and the Mississippi River.
